Every system has a back plane and card connectors on it; if one is damaged, the Coral IPx will continue to function on the other bus. High busy-hour call-attempts rating ensures that the heaviest traffic will not slow down the Coral IPx system. Distributed processing eliminates the single point of failure common in most telecommunication systems today – dropped calls. When a call is made and established between two Coral FlexSets, the Coral IPx’s main processor can be removed without dropping the call.
